** Job Description*
* Working under general supervision, employees in this classification
perform skilled carpentry work at the journey level in the construction,
maintenance, and repair of structures, equipment and fixtures.

Work is assigned by the supervisor or lead, and carried out by the
carpenter independently, selecting methods most suitable for the job.
Work is spot-checked for quality during progress and upon
completion.
