Job Overview
A law firm seeks a full-time USPTO-registered Patent Agent in Menlo Park, CA, experienced in preparing and prosecuting software-related applications. Candidates with a minimum of three years of patent prosecution experience are preferred, with skills in portfolio development and client counseling considered advantageous.
Duties- Prepare and prosecute software-related patent applications.
- Develop and manage patent portfolios.
- Provide client counseling on patent matters.
- USPTO Registration Number required.
- Minimum of three years of patent prosecution experience preferred.
- Experience in software technologies such as cloud, security encryption, AI, bioinformatics, mobile applications, databases, and networking preferred.
Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field.
Certifications- USPTO Registration Number.
- Detail-oriented with strong written and verbal communication skills.
