- Define the long-term technical vision for Snowflake Intelligence
- Lead architectural design of multi-agent systems, tool-use frameworks, and self-correcting NL-to-SQL engines

- Partner with Product and Engineering leadership to align AI capabilities with business goals

- Design extensible context-engineering patterns, advanced function calling, and semantic-layer integration
- Mentor Staff and Senior engineers
- Lead cross-functional strike teams on high-stakes projects
- Foster technical excellence and rapid experimentation
- 10+ years of software engineering experience
- 3+ years specifically leading deployment of LLM-based applications at massive scale
- Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Computer Science, AI, or a related field
- Deep understanding of LLM orchestration
- Expertise in prompt optimization, semantic modeling, and robust guardrails for non-deterministic systems
- Proven track record designing complex systems integrating AI with SQL, retrieval systems, and semantic layers
- Exceptional ability to communicate technical trade-offs to executive leadership and individual contributors
- Previously held a Principal or equivalent high-level IC role, or led the technical launch of a major AI product used by millions
Demonstrates expertise in leading the architectural design and deployment of LLM-based applications, integrating AI with SQL and semantic layers, while fostering technical excellence and mentoring engineering teams.
