About us
We are building AI systems that can reason, use tools, and complete meaningful work in the real world. Our team works across model post-training, reinforcement-learning infrastructure, large-scale training, and product engineering. We believe the fastest path to more capable and reliable agents is an integrated loop: challenging environments, rigorous evaluations, efficient training, reliable inference, and products that make those capabilities useful.
About the roleYou will build the product and platform layers through which developers create, run, and integrate agentic systems. The scope includes agent runtimes, product backend services, public APIs, SDKs, control-plane capabilities, observability, and the workflows that take a user from a first request to a dependable production deployment.
This is an end-to-end product-engineering role with meaningful systems depth. You will talk with users, make API and product decisions, ship the underlying services, measure adoption and reliability, and iterate. You should enjoy turning cutting-edge infrastructure into a product that feels simple without hiding the operational realities that developers need to understand.
What you’ll doBuild backend systems for agent execution, including tool invocation, workflow orchestration, state and memory, event streams, queues, retries, scheduling, and long-running task management.
Design and ship stable public APIs, SDKs, CLIs, webhooks, and reference integrations with clear versioning, error models, documentation, and upgrade paths.
Build control-plane capabilities such as projects and organizations, authentication and authorization, secrets, quotas, rate limits, usage metering, billing integration, and multi-tenant isolation.
Create secure interfaces to sandboxes, models, data sources, and external tools while making common developer workflows fast and intuitive.
Own reliability and operability from design through launch: testing, staged rollout, monitoring, tracing, alerting, incident response, and postmortems.
Work directly with design partners and early users to understand friction, support high-priority deployments, and turn repeated bespoke requests into reusable product capabilities.
Partner with research, inference, training, security, and design teams to translate low-level capabilities into coherent product surfaces.
Use product telemetry, qualitative feedback, and support data to prioritize work and evaluate whether a launch created real user value.
Raise the bar for engineering quality through thoughtful design reviews, code reviews, documentation, and pragmatic reduction of technical debt.
A strong record shipping production backend systems, developer platforms, or technically demanding products end-to-end.
Excellent programming skills in one or more of Python, Type Script/JavaScript, Go, Rust, or another language appropriate for reliable production services.
Experience designing APIs and working with databases, caches, queues, distributed systems, and cloud infrastructure.
Sound judgment about reliability, security, observability, compatibility, and the trade-offs between a clean developer experience and system complexity.
Product sense and user empathy: you can turn an ambiguous need into a clear interface, make reasonable scope decisions, and iterate from feedback.
High ownership and clear communication across product, research, systems, and customer-facing teams.
Experience building agent platforms, workflow systems, model-serving products, ML infrastructure, or other developer-facing AI systems.
Experience with multi-tenant control planes, identity and access management, metering or billing, enterprise security, or high-throughput APIs.
Familiarity with LLM inference, fine-tuning, evaluation, tool use, sandboxes, or the operational lifecycle of production agents.
Experience owning open-source SDKs, developer tools, API documentation, examples, or community-facing integrations.
Full-stack ability and an eye for interaction design when a product problem requires work beyond the backend.
Mission first. We choose work for its impact on the mission and take responsibility for the outcome, not just our assigned tasks.
High agency. We identify what is missing, form a plan, and move without waiting for perfect clarity.
Speed with rigor. We ship, measure, and iterate quickly while protecting correctness, safety, and reliability.
Flexible scope. We cross team and technical boundaries when that is the fastest way to solve the real problem.
Low ego, high standards. We give direct feedback, change our minds when the evidence changes, and help the whole team win.
Continuous learning. The stack changes quickly; we are willing to learn unfamiliar systems, methods, and domains as the work demands.
