As a Quality Assurance Analyst at Anchor Coupling Inc. (a wholly-owned subsidiary of Caterpillar Inc.), you will work with QA Manager to evaluate customer returns and determine root cause/correction action to resolve and prevent future occurrences. Ensures compliance to the quality systems program by analyzing and solving quality problems, preparing inspection plans and instruction, selecting sampling plan applications, preparing procedures, performing quality audits, analyzing quality costs and other quality data, and applying fundamental statistical methods for process control.
Will participate in cross-functional teams involved in NPI (New Product Introduction) and CPI (Continuous Product Improvement) projects. Will act as representative from the quality department on APQP/PPAP issues.
- Ensure control plans and FMEA’s are being reviewed
- Starts the quality escalation presentation for quality projects and populates the information received.
- Ensure RCCA so products being built meet customer expectations.
- Work safely at ALL times and comply with safety regulations regarding the use of protective equipment and devices.
- Offer suggestions relative to improving work process, procedures, productivity, job safety or work environment.
- Perform other miscellaneous job duties and related functions as directed by Manager supervisor or other designated person.
- Perform as a team member with the willingness and attitude to work with others to resolve problems.
- Must also maintain a good working relationship with others within the organization.
- Must have the ability to read and interpret documents such as blueprints
- Previous quality experience or education
- Ability to work independently and make judgement decisions as to the quality of the product
- Ability to work with limited supervision and support
- Excellent written communication is required.
- Must have the ability to communicate effectively with customers, vendors, and other employees of the organization.
- Customer specifications, SPC data and charts, calibration records, process control plans, and various quality related data.

Summary Pay Range: $23.00 - $29.90
