1st Shift – Airframe & Powerplant Mechanic

Position: A&P Mechanic

R&D Manager

Wage Range: $20.50 – $40.00 per hour

• BASIC WORKER FUNCTION:
  Performs final installations, adjustments, and testing as helicopters move through the flight line for final assembly, testing, and sign-off. Signs off on work as allowed under FAR 65.103 or recommends approval to authorized personnel.
• GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF TASKS:
  Track and adjust blades and helicopter systems until FAA approval is complete.
• Perform repairs, inspections, and overhauls.
• Install, adjust, and test assemblies like rotors, fuel lines, and linkages.
• Use hand and power tools and follow blueprints and specifications.
• Keep accurate records and follow safety rules.
• Train and support other workers.

• REQUIRED
  
  KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
  
  Strong mechanical skills and experience with helicopter assemblies.
• Can read blueprints and use precision tools.
• Able to troubleshoot problems independently.
• Good record keeping, communication, and teamwork skills.
• A&P License (within 6 months)
• Repairman Certification per FAR 65.103 (Enstrom Helicopter).
• Extensive flight line and helicopter maintenance experience.

• Stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Comfortable in confined spaces, on ladders, or elevated platforms.
• Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
