Domtar, Menominee Operations is seeking two (2) talented individuals to join our team and will be accepting applications for Maintenance
Millwright. One position is a day shift position, and the other position is a Shift Millwright (12-hour rotating shift).
The Millwright will maintain machinery and equipment in a safe and timely manner to ensure plant run ability. Additional responsibilities include preventive maintenance tasks that include inspections, lubrication, and time-based maintenance. Millwrights will also need to assemble and install new machinery and equipment as needed. Additional certifications or experience with hydraulics, pneumatics and welding or related experience in the pulp and paper industry is a plus.
- Maintain machinery and equipment safely and timely.
- Perform preventive maintenance tasks, including inspections, lubrication, and time-based maintenance.
- Assemble and install new machinery and equipment.
- Possess or be willing to obtain certifications or experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, welding, or related pulp and paper industry experience.
Candidates are required to have a high school diploma or GED equivalent. Candidates should have four (4) years of experience in a related field and three (3) to five (5) years in an industrial environment. A journeyman’s certification is preferred, but we will consider equivalent experience without certifications.

Successful applicants need to be self-directed individuals and must possess excellent trouble shooting/problem solving skills as well as good written and oral skills. Must be able to work both independently and as part of our team, and be willing to participate in off-hours support, i.e. call-ins, overtime, etc.
