We are looking for a meticulous and collaborative Accounting Clerk to join the "A-Team." This role serves as a vital link in our financial operations, handling both vendor payments and customer collections. You will be responsible for ensuring that all financial transactions are recorded accurately and timely within our ERP system, directly contributing to the fiscal health of a company that has led the print industry for over a century.

WHAT

YOU’LL DO ON THE A-TEAM:
  • Process vendor invoices using Stampli automation software, ensuring proper coding and department approvals.
  • Perform three-way matching of invoices, purchase orders (POs), and receiving documents to ensure billing accuracy.
  • Prepare and process weekly payment runs, including checks, ACH transfers, and wire payments.
  • Maintain vendor master records and ensure compliance with W-9 and Certificate of Insurance (COI) requirements.
  • Post customer payments and manage daily cash applications within the JD Edwards (JDE) system.
  • Resolve payment discrepancies, including short-pays, deductions, and account write-offs.
  • Maintain and reconcile AR aging schedules, identifying and following up on past-due balances.
  • Assist in bank reconciliations and provide documentation for the month-end closing process.
  • Support external audits by gathering and organizing financial data and transaction records.
  • Maintain highly organized digital and physical filing systems to ensure data integrity and easy retrieval.
  • Assist with a variety of projects, including maintaining ACH records, performing data entry, and supporting evolving departmental needs driven by business requirements and ERP system enhancements.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
  • Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Bachelor's degree preferred).
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, or general clerical accounting.
  • Hands-on experience with JD Edwards (JDE) or similar enterprise ERP software is strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, lookups, and pivot tables).
  • High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to meet deadlines in a high-volume environment.
