Position Title: Accounting Specialist

Wage: Based on Experience

Shift: 1st

Hours: 7:00AM - 4:00PM or 8:00AM - 5:00PM (Monday - Friday)

• Process inventory invoices, including 3-way PO matching in the ERP system
• Reconcile supplier statements; research and resolve discrepancies
• Review invoices for accuracy, approvals, and proper documentation
• Prioritize invoices based on payment terms and cash discounts
• Process payments via check, ACH, and credit card
• Process general & administrative expenses and obtain required approvals
• Track returns and ensure credits are issued correctly
• Maintain vendor relationships and assist with onboarding new suppliers
• Set up and maintain vendors in ERP; collect W-9s and Certificates of Insurance
• Partner with A/R and A/P teams to reconcile intercompany transactions
• Prepare and submit expense reports
• Assist with month-end close and annual 1099 processing
• Contribute to team projects and provide support as needed

• Associate degree or equivalent work experience
• 2+ years of Accounts Payable experience
• Familiarity with prepaids and accruals
• Proficient in MS Word and Excel
• Basic understanding of accounting principles
• Working knowledge of accounts payable and general ledger systems
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
