GENERAL INFORMATION
Position Status:
Exempt
Position reports to:
Sales Manager
Positions supervised:
None
Increase sales volume by successfully quoting customer requirements and improve margins by quoting existing customer parts. Provide quality service to all customers.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES- High School diploma or equivalent necessary.
- Technical school or bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 1-3 years experience in the Manufacturing Industry.
- Experience in quoting, estimating, or purchasing.
- Strong mechanical aptitude.
- Above average math skills.
- Self‑motivation and personal ownership.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Understanding of general machine shop procedures and types of tooling.
- Microsoft Office.
- Print reading.
- Safety and quality minded.
- Office environment; possible overtime.
- If trips into the shop are necessary, safety protection will be required.
- Fast paced, job shop and fabrication business.
- Works under minimal supervision.
- Exercises large degree of discretion and independent judgment.
- Works under pressure of deadlines.
