Construction Project Manager
Experience: Mid Level
Salary: $100,000 - $140,000 per year
- Lead, mentor, and motivate project teams, including contractors, subcontractors, and other stakeholders, to achieve project goals and objectives.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other consultants to develop project plans, timelines, and budgets.
- Oversee project execution, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and quality standards.
- Monitor construction progress, anticipate potential issues, and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Manage project budgets and financial reporting, providing cost control measures to keep projects on track.
- Review and negotiate contracts, change orders, and other project-related documents.
- Foster strong relationships with clients, addressing their concerns and maintaining clear lines of communication throughout the project lifecycle.
- Implement sustainable and environmentally friendly construction practices whenever possible.
- Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping for all project activities.
- Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and technological advancements to enhance project delivery.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
- Proven experience (5+ years) as a Construction Project Manager, with a track record of successfully completing projects of various sizes and complexities.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and drive collaboration.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, both verbal and written.
- Solid understanding of construction processes, building codes, and regulations.
- Proficient in project management software and tools.
- Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of multitasking effectively.
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
- Demonstrated commitment to safety and quality in construction practices.
- Familiarity with sustainability principles in construction is a plus.
