Regulatory Compliance Specialist, Occupational Health & Safety
Safety Specialist
Develop and implement comprehensive safety plans and programs aligned with OSHA, FDA, and pharmaceutical industry standards. Conduct risk assessments to identify potential hazards related to chemical handling, cleanroom construction, and specialized equipment installation. Monitor compliance to ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulatory requirements. Regularly audit construction areas and lead root-cause analysis of incidents to recommend corrective actions. Coordinate and deliver safety training sessions and manage all related documentation.
Responsibilities- Develop and implement safety plans and site-specific safety programs.
- Conduct risk assessments to identify potential hazards.
- Monitor compliance with safety protocols and PPE requirements.
- Regularly audit construction areas for unsafe practices.
- Investigate incidents and recommend corrective actions.
- Coordinate and deliver safety training sessions.
- Manage documentation of safety audits and compliance certifications.
- Collaborate with project teams to integrate safety into all phases of construction.
- Proficiency in developing and implementing safety plans.
- Experience in conducting risk assessments.
- Knowledge of OSHA standards and compliance monitoring.
- Ability to lead incident investigations and recommend corrective actions.
- Experience in coordinating and delivering safety training.
- Strong documentation and record-keeping skills.
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Safety.
- 0-2 years of experience as a safety specialist in construction.
- OSHA 30 certification.
- OSHA 510 certification

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Menomonee Falls, WI.
Pay and Benefits:
The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $50.00/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
