Why Join Wagner as a Graphic Designer?
At Wagner, design isn't just about making things look good, it's about transforming complex technical information into compelling visual experiences that help customers build safer, smarter spaces. As a Graphic Designer, you’ll have the opportunity to shape how an employee‑owned manufacturing company presents itself to the world. From creating high‑impact marketing campaigns and trade show experiences to designing product catalogs, specification sheets, and installation guides used by architects, contractors, and engineers across North America, your work will have visible, measurable impact.
This role is ideal for a designer who thrives on both creativity and structure. One day you may be producing photography and video content for a new product launch; the next, you’ll be refining a technical catalog, improving digital asset workflows, or leveraging AI‑powered tools to streamline production. You’ll work closely with marketing, sales, engineering, and product experts, giving you exposure to the full business and the opportunity to influence how Wagner’s story is told.
As a 100% employee‑owned ESOP company, every employee is an owner. That means your contributions directly support the long‑term success of the business, and your future. If you’re excited by the challenge of combining design excellence, technical communication, process improvement, and brand stewardship in a collaborative environment, Wagner offers a unique opportunity to grow your career while helping build something lasting.
Reporting to the Digital Marketing Manager, the Graphic Designer is responsible for the systematic design, organization and execution of a wide variety of print and digital marketing collateral. This position works closely with the rest of the Digital Marketing team to support multi‑channel campaigns and other marketing initiatives. The Graphic Designer creates marketing collateral that reinforces the Wagner brand while supporting business objectives.
This role maintains brand consistency across detailed, frequently technical documents (specification sheets, installation instructions, catalogs) as well as commercial marketing assets such as digital ads, trade show materials and website graphics. In addition, the Graphic Designer is responsible for product photography and the disciplined management of Wagner’s media asset library.
Structure, design and maintain highly technical, data‑dense collateral including product catalogs, brochures, specification sheets and installation instructions, ensuring clarity and readability.
Maintain and enforce a rigorous digital asset management system (file naming conventions, archiving, project details). Utilize batch image processing and automation tools to maximize efficiency.
Manage design projects systematically from initial request and layout templating through final production, including print file setup and vendor communication.
Develop, maintain and champion Wagner’s brand identity across all internal and external touchpoints.
Build structured, high‑performing digital and print assets for multi‑channel sales and marketing campaigns, including product sell sheets, display ads, social media and email graphics, business cards and table displays.
Serve as the internal resource for standardized product photography, video capture and image editing.
Regularly research and integrate emerging design tools and practices, including AI‑assisted workflows and Adobe plugins, to better serve Wagner’s marketing goals.
Leverage best practices in UX and UI to test and evolve design performance for Wagner’s customer personas.
