• High power experience (450 voltz +) and 3 phase power experience
• More electric rather than hydraulic or mechanical
• Motor and power flow experience
• Acoustic, vibration, and shock experience – will be big focus on current program
• Laview, NI, Mattlab (not all required)

Insight Global is seeking a Test Engineer to join one of our largest Navy prime contractors. As a trusted provider of naval power and control technology they deliver quality, customer-focused products and support solutions for the U.S. Navy and our allies. Their products meet stringent specifications and have been proven to perform in harsh marine environments. Under the support of the Electrical Engineering department, you will support the production of the new submarine model, specifically the laser weapon system.

Join our team as a Test Engineer II working on power controls and power conversion systems and subsystems for use by the US Navy.

• Design and develop test programs to evaluate product functionality, integrity, and reliability.
• Write and execute test procedures and protocols to ensure products meet performance standards.
• Debug and troubleshoot test hardware and software.
• Use computer-aided engineering and analysis tools for design tasks.
• Review customer specifications and develop cost-effective designs to meet requirements.
• Specify and assess supplier components, subsystems, and services.
• Provide input on budgets, costs, and schedules for design assignments.
• Develop prototypes to mitigate development risks.
