Responsible for pharmacy health information system development, implementation and maintenance. Responsibilities also include system design, testing, validation, trouble shooting and user training. Provides clinical support and technical services to provide EHR tools to clinicians so they can provide quality and cost-effective drug therapy to patients. This position will have a dual focus of Epic Willow inpatient work as well as data analytics / report generation responsibilities.
All analytics training will be provided upon hire. Having pharmacy and Epic Willow inpatient certification is critical for learning the reporting aspects of this position. Additional consideration would be given to those with SQL background. Other duties as assigned.
Three or more years of hospital practice experience is preferred.
Education DescriptionBachelor's degree in Pharmacy is required.
Licensure DescriptionActive Wisconsin Pharmacist License is required or eligible for and must obtain within 3 months. 30 CEU biannually;
Specialized knowledge: pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics, drug literature review, therapeutic and aseptic technique. Epic Willow certified.
Pay is expected to be between: (expressed as hourly) $49.15 - $84.07. Final compensation is based on experience and will be discussed with you by the recruiter during the interview process.
