Part Time 1st Shift Caregiver

About the Opportunity

Riverview Village is currently seeking a Caregiver to join our dedicated team of professionals who want to make a difference in the lives of our residents, their families and our community. The Caregiver supports residents with activities of daily living including personal hygiene, socialization, cognition, and physical health. The role encourages resident independence, supports resident choice, and preserves resident dignity through professional conduct and interactions.

• Supports residents with activities of daily living.
• Encourages resident independence and preserves dignity.
• Exhibits a positive customer service attitude, approachable and friendly.
• Displays personal initiative to complete work without constant supervision.
• Maintains consistent work attendance as scheduled.
• Communicates carefully, listens attentively, and reports timely and accurately.
• Maintains confidentiality of resident and staff information.
• Exhibits a neat, clean appearance.
• Participates in designated facility in‑services.
• Assists new staff in learning job tasks and responsibilities.

• Prior direct care experience.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Current CPR certification.
• Meets age requirements per facility policy and state regulations.
