Medical Laboratory Technician

Assignment Length: 13 Weeks + Possible Extension

Schedule: 4x10-hour shifts

Pay Rate: $1600-$1700/week

Responsibilities

• Perform clinical laboratory testing, specimen processing, and blood collection.
• Conduct quality control, instrument maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Accurately interpret and verify test results.
• Investigate and report abnormal or discrepant results.
• Maintain accurate records and follow laboratory protocols.
• Communicate effectively with staff and leadership.
• Assist with training and process improvement.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree in Laboratory Science/Medical Laboratory Technology.
• MLT or MLS certification (ASCP or equivalent) required within the specified timeframe.
• 2 years of clinical laboratory experience preferred.
• Experience with specimen processing, quality control, and laboratory instruments.
• Strong communication, troubleshooting, and organizational skills.
