Job Duties

• Seeking a dedicated engineer proficient in container solutions with required experience in Red Hat Open Shift technology.
• The Red Hat Open Shift engineer will provide consulting services in Dev Ops, working with client teams to drive the Dev Ops journey, starting with implementation of the client’s Red Hat Open Shift tool.
• The consultant will be a Red Hat Open Shift subject matter expert and will have delivery expertise.
• He or she will guide the client in preparing the design roadmap, implementing the tool, structuring the modules and assisting with writing, testing, and deploying new code to the Google Cloud Platform.
• The scope of automation will be the operating system configuration, application platform configuration, and code deployments.
• The candidate must take initiative and drive the other client teams, work without supervision, and possess strong leadership qualities and proficient technology skills to work in a multi‑business‑unit environment.
• Candidate will be responsible for setting design and standards for Open Shift at the architect level across multiple environments.
• Candidate will independently work with the client’s Cloud Engineers and Dev Ops Engineers in each Dev Ops team and will direct the respective teams to execute cloud migrations and CI/CD builds.
• Assignment will initially be as a contractor supporting a major retail brand, with the potential to transition to full‑time, and may require travel to the client’s location.
