Most AGM postings describe someone who covers shifts and handles what the GM doesn't want to. That's not this. We need someone with real energy — the kind of positive, assertive presence that changes the mood of a lobby the second they walk through it, and the backbone to make a hard call and own it.

Delta Hotels by Marriott Milwaukee is hiring an Assistant General Manager to help lead a genuine turnaround. This property is being rebuilt, and we need someone who thrives in exactly that environment — energized by fixing what's broken, not intimidated by it. Full Marriott brand experience is a must; you already know how the standards work, and you're ready to hold the team to them from day one.

• Full operational command, on your days. When the GM is out, you're not "covering" — you're leading, with full authority to make the calls
• Cross-department leadership. Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, Engineering — you understand how every department runs and you hold every department head accountable
• The financials, fluently. P&L review, labor cost management, budget variance, forecasting support — you read the numbers and you know what to do about what you see
• Guest recovery at the highest level. The complaints that reach you are the ones nobody else could solve. You solve them, and the guest leaves better than before the problem started
• Talent development. Coach supervisors into managers, identify your future department heads, and build the bench — this property is rebuilding, and you're part of why it works
• Quality and brand standards. Marriott brand audits, guest satisfaction scores, and property presentation are your business, not someone else's problem
• Safety, compliance, and risk. OSHA, life safety, and liability — you know the rules and you make sure the building follows them

• You're positive and energetic — genuinely, not performatively. It shows up in how you walk a shift, how you talk to guests, and how your team feels after working with you
• You're assertive. You make the tough call, hold people accountable, and don't wait for permission to fix what's obviously broken
• Marriott brand experience is a must. You know Marriott standards, systems, and culture, and you can hold a team to that bar starting week one
• You have real turnaround instincts. You've helped fix a struggling department, score, or team before, and you find that work energizing rather than draining
• 3+ years of hotel management experience, ideally with prior AGM, Director-level, or strong Department Head experience in a full-service property
• You understand hotel financials — not just labor scheduling, but real P&L literacy
• You want to be a General Manager. This role is built as a genuine GM pipeline, not a career plateau

• $55,000 - $65,000 per year, based on experience
