As an Industrial Sewer, you will play a vital role in our production process by measuring, aligning, and sewing patterned parts to precise customer specifications. Success in this role means consistently delivering high‑quality work that meets customer requirements while maintaining accuracy and efficiency.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:- Measure all parts to ensure they match the order packet regarding customer specifications and accessories (logos, types of pleats, etc.)
- Sew patterned parts using an industrial sewing machine
- Align patterned parts accurately for sewing
- Match thread according to customer specifications, including selecting the appropriate type of thread based on the material being sewn
- Accurately follow seams, edges, and markings on patterns to ensure precise alignment
- Trim excess threads and edges of pieces for a clean, finished appearance
- Sew and finish seals, ensuring they are turned right‑side out after completion
- 6 months of industrial sewing experience required; a sewing test is the first screening
- Knowledge of patterns, seams, and specifications with accuracy
- Knowledge of sewing machine operation and basic safety standards
- Knowledge of fabrics, threads, and materials for sewing projects
