Your Role on Our Team

The Operator I supports production by operating a variety of equipment to produce quality product per provided criteria and work instructions. This position is required to cooperate with other cross-functional departments to ensure and maintain part quality, proper procedure execution, a safe and productive work environment, and culture standards.

Shift

Hours:

* 1st Shift Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:00pm

* 2nd Shift Monday-Friday 3:00-11:00pm

You'll be DISRUPTIVE through these duties and responsibilities:

* Follow all safety policies and practice 6S standards to maintain a safe and clean working environment for all employees.

* Identify and escalate potential safety risks on the floor.

* Operate numerous types of equipment, independently or in a team environment, per the work instructions.

* Utilize electronic devices (computer, iPad, etc.) daily to reference work instructions, control plans, visual criteria, in-process quality checks, and accurately log production numbers.

* Perform repetitive tasks as needed and maintain production pace and quality standards as specified by the applicable documentation to meet process metrics such as delivery, efficiency, and quality.

* Recognize and react to problems with equipment, escalate as required.

* Close attention to detail concerning product quality through utilizing visual criteria and escalate issues to appropriate personnel.

* Use fixtures, jigs, and hand tools as necessary to ensure proper position and/or movement of components and parts.

* Ability to work on a raised platform, safely

* Work with Machine Set Up Technician to resolve problems with equipment.

* Clean equipment as required to ensure proper operation.

* Conduct Autonomous Maintenance tasks as prescribed.

* Place processed parts into containers and palletize per the work instruction and at specified quantities per the part tag.

* Other duties and projects as determined by business and production needs.

The TOOLS you'll bring with you:

* High school diploma, or equivalent, preferred

* Display great attention to detail

* 0-1 years of machine operation experience

* Understand and follow verbal and written instructions

* Basic math skills

* Basic mechanical skills

* Basic computer skills

* Ability to read and understand provided work instructions
