We are seeking a skilled Automation Technician for a 12-hour night shift role in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This position supports robotics, end-of-arm tooling (EOAT), and automated assembly machinery to ensure smooth production and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities- Set up and maintain robots, EOAT, conveyors, degators, and secondary equipment
- Perform basic robotic programming and troubleshoot automated machinery
- Support production runs by resolving technical issues quickly and effectively
- Maintain accurate work instructions and training documentation
- Troubleshoot and repair assembly equipment, including pad printers, sonic welders, heat stakers, and hot stampers
- Fabricate fixtures, guarding, and other production aids as needed
- Order parts and materials to support equipment readiness
- Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Documentation Practices (GDP)
- Uphold all safety protocols, serving as a role model for safe work behavior
- Other duties as assigned to support manufacturing and automation objectives
- High school diploma or GED required; technical degree or certificate preferred
- 2–5 years of automation, robotics, or related manufacturing experience
- Fork truck and Lockout/Tagout certification required (or ability to obtain)
- Proficient with hand tools and conventional manufacturing equipment
