Top plastics manufacturer seeks Automation Technician for night shift.
We are a leading packaging manufacturer focused on plastic injection molding. We’re seeking a highly skilled, experienced Permanent Automation Technician to join our dynamic team in manufacturing. This role is crucial to our ongoing growth and continuous improvement as we strive for excellence in our production processes.
This position requires maintaining, troubleshooting, and enhancing high-speed, automated production equipment. The successful candidate will demonstrate technical prowess, problem‑solving skills, and a keen understanding of robotics and automation.
Salary: $40–$45 per hour.

- Maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and improve high‑speed, automated manufacturing equipment.
- Develop and implement automation solutions and strategies to improve production efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to identify opportunities for process and product improvements.
- Design, test, and implement electrical systems to enhance production efficiency.
- Provide technical support and guidance on automation systems to the production team.
- Lead projects to improve production processes and reduce downtime.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, suggesting and implementing changes to enhance operational efficiency.
- Comply with all safety procedures and regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
- Document all actions, tests, and procedures for future reference and continuous learning.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Automation Technician, Robotic Technician, or a similar role in the Manufacturing industry.
- A degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related field.
- Solid experience in robotics, automation, and electrical systems.
- Proficiency in various programming languages used in automation.
- Proven experience in project management and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex automation systems.
- Strong understanding of safety regulations and procedures in the manufacturing industry.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to explain complex systems in simple terms.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced, highpressure environment.
- Detail‑oriented with a strong focus on quality and precision.
- Willingness to stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in automation technology.
