Welder/Mechanical Technician

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Welder/Mechanical Technician to join our dynamic team. Key Responsibilities:

- Perform welding operations using various techniques such as MIG, TIG, and arc welding to fabricate and repair metal components.

- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to ensure accurate fabrication.

- Install, maintain, and repair mechanical systems and equipment in accordance with safety standards and technical requirements.

- Conduct inspections and tests on welded and mechanical parts to ensure compliance with quality standards.

- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to complete projects efficiently and effectively.

- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.

Skills and

Qualifications:

- Proven experience in welding and mechanical systems, with a strong understanding of welding techniques and tools.

- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics.

- Knowledge of safety standards and procedures related to welding and mechanical work.

- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

- Physical stamina and dexterity to perform manual tasks and operate equipment.

- Relevant certifications such as AWS welding certification or equivalent are preferred.

Requirements

• Joining of shaft extensions, flanges, brackets, and fittings, on hydraulic shafts, barrels, guide bars. Using the following: 1/16" & .045" Diameter FCAW, GMAW.
• Assist in assembling Hydraulic cylinders.
• Other operations could include polishing, milling and drilling, of parts.
• Fabricating of metal structures, Tanks, Tables, tool holders, shipping crates.
• Canidate will be required to pass AWS/ASME type certifications.
• Use of large overhead cranes will be required.
• Use of weld positioners, shaft welders, and set up tables.
• Advanced training will be provided.
