Overview
1st and 2nd shift opening for CNC burn table operator. Burn table fabricator works with heavy and some medium plate steel work from prints.
Pay is dependent on experience. Set up and operate burn table for plasma cutting. $23-$29/hr. 1st shift: $23-$26; 2nd shift: up to $29. Permanent (contract-to-direct) benefits include health, dental, vision, 401(K), and more.
Responsibilities- Operate material handling equipment to load and unload materials.
- Operate secondary equipment such as band saw, drill press, shear, etc.
- Set stops on machine beds, change dies, and adjust components such as rams or power presses when making multiple or successive passes.
- Place work pieces on cutting tables, manually or using hoists, cranes, or sledges.
- Operate forklifts to deliver materials.
- Read work orders or production schedules to determine specifications, such as materials to use, locations of cutting lines, and dimensions and tolerances.
