As a Mechanical Assembler, you will assemble construction equipment and components using hand and power tools while following engineering drawings, work instructions, and quality standards. This position requires attention to detail, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work effectively as part of a production team.
Essential Responsibilities- Assemble mechanical components and complete equipment according to blueprints, work instructions, and standard operating procedures.
- Use a variety of hand tools, power tools, torque tools, and measuring devices safely and effectively.
- Install components including hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
- Verify proper fit, function, and quality of assembled products.
- Identify and report quality concerns or production issues.
- Perform inspections throughout the assembly process to ensure products meet company quality standards.
- Maintain an organized and safe work area while following all company safety policies.
- Work collaboratively with team members and production leadership to meet daily production goals.
- Cross-train in multiple assembly areas as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Previous mechanical assembly or manufacturing experience preferred.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to use hand and power tools safely.
- Experience reading blueprints, assembly drawings, or work instructions is preferred.
- Familiarity with hydraulic, pneumatic, or electrical assemblies is a plus.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
- Reliable attendance and a positive attitude.
- Ability to stand and walk throughout the entire shift.
- Frequently lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to bend, twist, kneel, reach, and perform repetitive tasks.
