The ideal candidate for a Manufacturing Engineer would be able to do the following:
- Total Cost of Ownership - As assigned, focus on product cost reduction activities in support of and defined by yearly cost metrics and targets.
For a candidate to be successful as a Manufacturing Engineer they must have:
- A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering discipline. Preferred 3-5 years of engineering experience in the sheet metal fabrication industry.
- Demonstrated mechanical/electrical skills and working knowledge of industrial engineering tools.
- Proficiency in reading engineering drawings, tolerances, schematics, BOMs, routings, and engineering tools.
- Proficiency in Solid Works or similar and MS-Office (Word/Excel)
- Demonstrated ability to perform root cause analysis and systematic problem solving.
- Understanding of Lean concepts and use of Lean tools
- Strong initative and high energy with excellent communication and time management skills.
