Under the direction of and reporting tothe Pouching Lead, the Packer/Quality Inspector is responsible for assembling finished cases and pallets while following quality inspection guidelines.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Count and pack finished pouches in accordancewithcustomer specifications.
  • Perform visual inspections and pouch measures.
  • Document production activity and material traceability/usage calculations todeterminefinished quantities and line efficiencies.
  • Create, label, and tag finished product.
  • Communicate with Operator tomaintainpouch specifications within defined tolerances.
  • Set up line supplies to include making boxes.
  • Perform general housekeeping and period cleaning as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Skills and

Qualifications:
  • Must be able to read a metric and standard ruler.
    The ability to communicate effectively.
  • High school math skills.
  • The ability to multi-task.
  • The ability to work as a team member.
  • The ability to readblueprintsis a plus.
Physical Requirements:
  • Frequent standing, walking, and use of hands to operate tools and equipment.
  • Ability to lift and move objects over 50 pounds.
  • Vision requirements include close vision, color recognition, and focus adjustment.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee infrequently works near moving mechanical parts and is infrequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles. The noise level in the work environment is quiet – hearing protection is required on the manufacturing floor.

Protective Clothing/ Equipment

Required:

Hearing protection, safety shoes, and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) requirements must be worn in all manufacturing areas. Additional PPE may be required as needed.
