As a Shipping and Crating Technician, you will play a vital role in our logistics and production operations by ensuring products are securely prepared for transit and materials are efficiently managed. You will utilize your technical skills with power tools and material handling equipment to support our supply chain and maintain facility standards.

You will utilize your technical skills with power tools and material handling equipment to support our supply chain and maintain facility standards.
Responsibilities- Construct custom crates and protective packaging tailored to specific product dimensions to ensure safe delivery.
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load, unload, and organize incoming and outgoing freight.
- Verify shipment accuracy by inspecting materials against bills of lading and quality standards.
- Manage inventory storage and supply production lines with necessary components to maintain workflow.
- Utilize pneumatic tools, nail guns, and saws to build skids and crates efficiently.
- Perform routine facility maintenance and equipment upkeep to ensure a safe, organized work environment.
- Maintain precise shipping documentation and labeling to comply with carrier and safety regulations.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proficiency with hand and power tools.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and occasionally move heavier items.
- Basic computer literacy for documentation and inventory tasks.
- Valid driver's license and ability to pass pre-employment screenings.
- 3+ years of experience in building maintenance or industrial production.
- Prior certification or extensive experience operating forklifts.
- Strong mathematical aptitude for measuring materials and calculating unit quantities.
- Proven ability to follow detailed safety protocols in a fast-paced, loud industrial environment.
