This role is for a registered nurse responsible for assessing, planning, directing, and evaluating patient care in the Emergency Room.
Key duties include:- providing age-specific and specialty-appropriate nursing care
- documenting accurately
- monitoring patient signs and symptoms
- maintaining confidentiality
- following physician orders
- collecting lab samples
- adhering to infection control protocols
- performing admissions, discharges, and transfers
- assembling equipment for procedures
The nurse participates in care planning, implementation, and evaluation, ensures compliance with legal and facility standards, and completes quality assessment activities.
Qualifications:- Associate’s Degree (BSN preferred)
- current RN license
- at least 2 years of ER or comparable experience
- certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS (ENPC optional, TNCC preferred)
- Fluency in English is required
- Candidates in Pennsylvania must complete specific background clearances
