ER Registered Nurse (Part-Time Nights

Role Overview: This position involves providing comprehensive nursing care in the Emergency Room, including assessing, planning, directing, and evaluating patient care to ensure safety, comfort, and appropriate treatment.

• Deliver age-specific and specialty-appropriate nursing care using advanced clinical skills.
• Accurately document patient information and observe physiological signs, symptoms, and behaviors.
• Propose revisions to interventions and desired outcomes.
• Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality at all times.
• Follow physician orders and perform lab testing, specimen collection, and infection control procedures.
• Manage admission, discharge, and transfer procedures.
• Participate in care planning, implementation, and evaluation, ensuring compliance with legal and institutional standards.
• Assemble equipment, assist with diagnostic and treatment procedures, and perform or support treatments as needed.

Conduct quality assessment activities, attend meetings, and perform assigned tasks.

• Associate’s Degree required; BSN preferred.
• Current state RN licensure without sanctions.
• At least 2 years of full-time RN experience in ER or comparable setting.
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications; TNCC preferred.
• Fluent in English, both written and oral.
• For Pennsylvania candidates: necessary background clearances must be completed or obtained prior to employment.
