Wage: $25-$28/hour
Shift: 1st
Hours: 6am-2:30pm
QPS Employment Group is hiring a Quality Technician for a company in Menomonee Falls, WI. This is a direct hire opportunity.
Quality Technician Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Analyze internal and external quality data to identify root causes and drive corrective actions
- Develop and track quality metrics to measure process improvements
- Create and maintain quality documentation, including SOPs, work instructions, ISO procedures, PPAPs, and control plans
- Serve as a liaison for customer quality issues; investigate complaints and verify corrective actions
- Perform internal and supplier audits; support ISO audit preparation
- Support training initiatives related to quality and manufacturing processes
- Manage document control, RMAs, calibration coordination, and first-article/process verifications
- Apply continuous improvement methodologies to improve quality, reliability, and cost
Quality Technician Requirements:
- Associate degree in Quality, Manufacturing, Industrial Technology, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience)
- 3-5 years of experience in quality, inspection, or manufacturing environments
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and quality systems
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, GD&T, and specifications
- Proficient with inspection tools (calipers, micrometers, depth micrometers)
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Experience with ERP and Quality Management Systems preferred
- Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or 6S methodologies preferred
- CMM experience preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment; physical capability to stand, bend, and lift as needed
