Quality Technician
Kelly Services is Hiring! Quality Technician (Temp-to-Hire, All Shifts) Menomonee Falls, WI | $19–$21/hr | Comprehensive Training | Growth Opportunity Are you ready to join a dynamic manufacturing team where your attention to detail and drive for quality make a difference? We're looking for Quality Technicians for all shifts, offering hands-on training and the chance to grow your career in an inclusive, supportive environment.
ShiftsAvailable:
- 1st Shift: Monday–Friday, 7:00 am–3:00 pm
- 2nd Shift: Monday–Friday, 3:00 pm–11:00 pm (train on 1st shift for a few weeks)
- 3rd Shift: Sunday–Thursday, 11:00 pm–7:00 am (train on 1st shift for a few weeks)
- Ensure products and processes consistently meet quality standards
- Perform daily quality audits in manufacturing
- Operate lab equipment: tensile/torsion testers, hardness testers, metallurgical tools, microscopes, etc.
- Use CMM, VMM, calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other measurement devices
- Complete quality documentation, inspections, non-conforming material reports, and quality alerts
- Assist in creating work instructions and inspect incoming materials
- Navigate computer systems for inspection reports and blueprints
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior technicians and operators
- Communicate with team members across shifts
- Support training on new procedures and techniques
- Perform basic math and unit conversions, including fractions, decimals, and statistics
- Follow all safety standards and protocols
- Other related duties as needed
- High school diploma or GED
- 2+ years of quality experience OR 5+ years of manufacturing experience
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office and Outlook
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to read blueprints and use measurement tools
- Comfortable with computers, tablets, and printers
- Problem-solving and interpersonal skills
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Great attention to detail and hands-on skills
- Preferred:
Understanding of metrology fundamentals, GD&T
- $19–$21/hr (pay may increase with experience)
- Weekly pay via Kelly Services
