The Quality Engineer is a full-time, on-site position based in Menomonee Falls, WI. This role is responsible for monitoring and improving product quality through effective quality engineering practices, including developing and maintaining quality standards, procedures, and documentation. Daily activities include analyzing production data, performing root cause investigations, implementing corrective and preventive actions, and collaborating with manufacturing, engineering, and supply chain teams to resolve quality issues.
The Quality Engineer conducts audits, supports customer and internal quality requirements, and assists in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance processes and reduce defects. The role also involves working with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure compliance with regulatory, customer, and company quality expectations.
- Strong foundation in Quality Engineering and Quality Management to develop, implement, and maintain robust quality systems.
- Experience with Quality Control and Quality Assurance practices to monitor production, conduct inspections, and ensure compliance with standards.
- Expertise in Product Quality to analyze defects, manage corrective actions, and support continuous improvement of products and processes.
- Knowledge of statistical quality tools and methodologies (e.g., root cause analysis, SPC, FMEA, control plans) is beneficial.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, quality, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and customer requirements and communicate findings clearly.
- Experience in manufacturing or automotive/heavy equipment environments is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
