Job Summary:

Key Roles and Responsibilities of the Pharmacy Quality, Outcomes, and Research Scientific Writer include, but are not limited to:
- Developing comprehensive written materials for research, outcomes, and quality improvement projects, including study objectives, design, methodology, statistical considerations, data collection tools, and conclusions (e.g., abstracts, protocols, manuscripts, presentations).
- Regularly review and revise research documentation based on feedback from researchers, pharmacy leadership, and IRB/regulatory authorities to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Supporting the collection, interpretation, and assessment of data related to pharmacy services and outcomes across the health system.
- Collaborating directly with pharmacy research teams, providing writing and research support that extends to learner projects when those teams are engaged in mentorship.
- Engaging in relevant committee work to support the growth of the pharmacy healthcare research and outcomes program.
- Contributing to literature reviews, resource development, and exploration of external funding opportunities.
- Conducting proactive identification of and submission to relevant journals, websites, and submission platforms for research, outcomes, and quality improvement publications.
