Deli Associate

What You ll Do

• Slice deli meats and cheeses to order, following food safety and portion guidelines
• Prepare fresh food items for the deli case, including salads, sandwiches, and daily specials
• Stock, rotate, and merchandise deli and bakery cases to keep them full and appealing
• Assist with bakery items — stocking, packaging, and maintaining freshness standards
• Greet and serve customers at the deli counter, answering questions and taking orders
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work area in accordance with health codes
• Support general store operations and teammates as needed

Required:

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Experience or comfort with slicing meats/cheeses (training provided)
• Willingness to learn food prep and bakery tasks
• Comfortable stocking and rotating product
• Friendly, customer-first attitude
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25-40 lbs
• Reliable and able to work a flexible schedule, including some weekends

Preferred:

• Prior deli, bakery, or grocery experience
• Food handler s certification (or willingness to obtain one)
