Position Title

Maintenance Technician

Location

Menomonee Falls, WI

Wage

$30‑$35/hour

Shift

1st

Hours

Start time: 6am, 7am, or 8am; 8‑hour shift

Responsibilities
  • Maintain and troubleshoot production equipment and facility systems, including electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, HVAC, plumbing, and boiler/steam systems
  • Diagnose and repair electrical systems such as motors, VFDs, sensors, relays, switches, control panels, and basic PLC systems
  • Respond to equipment breakdowns and perform preventive maintenance
  • Assist with electrical upgrades, control panel modifications, and equipment installations or relocations
  • Remove and replace obsolete or non-repairable equipment
  • Develop, document, and improve maintenance procedures
  • Train staff on proper equipment operation and basic maintenance
  • Coordinate repairs with external service providers
  • Order parts and maintenance supplies as needed
Requirements
  • 2‑year technical degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 2 years in an industrial maintenance role
  • Forklift certification or ability to obtain
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems; industrial controls experience required
  • PLC troubleshooting experience preferred
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals
  • Familiarity with Lockout/Tagout procedures and OSHA safety standards
  • Experience with CMMS software preferred
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Strong communication skills and sense of urgency
