Maintenance Mechanic - 2nd Shift

Mechanical Maintenance Technician – supports production equipment and facility infrastructure at the Menomonee Falls, WI location.

• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot advanced mechanical maintenance, repair, and installation of industrial equipment and facility systems.
• Work closely with engineering teams to implement, install, and commission new equipment and production systems.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair complex mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electromechanical systems.
• Perform precision maintenance on production equipment, conveyors, pumps, compressors, gearboxes, and rotating equipment.
• Rebuild and overhaul machinery and components to OEM specifications.
• Perform advanced alignment, balancing, and vibration‑related mechanical work.
• Maintain PLC‑controlled manufacturing equipment and support FANUC robotics cells, including safety circuits and end‑of‑arm tooling.
• Identify failure trends and recommend corrective actions to improve equipment reliability.
• Communicate equipment status, repair needs, and improvement opportunities to supervisors and operations.
• Install, align, and dismantle machinery and mechanical components.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, manuals, and technical drawings.
• Use precision measuring tools and hand/power tools effectively.
• Perform welding, cutting, fabrication and machining as required.
• Replace bearings, seals, belts, chains, and other worn components.
• Support mechanical requirements for new equipment installations, line moves, and process changes.
• Perform preventative maintenance and emergency repairs to minimize production downtime.
• Document mechanical repairs, upgrades, and system modifications.
• Utilize the Preventative Maintenance (PM) program (Limble) and manage inventory of mechanical supplies.
• Assume accountability for department metrics (SQDCI) and support new product development at the maintenance level.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to install, integrate, and commission new equipment and production lines.
• Operate forklifts and comply with lift truck certifications.
• Assist in training department employees and support other department functions as needed.

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
• 2+ years of industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience.
• Hands‑on experience with electrical systems from low voltage through 480 volts.
• Experience working with PLC‑controlled equipment.
• Strong troubleshooting skills in both power and control systems.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, ladder logic, one‑lines, and machine documentation.
• Ability to perform lockout/tagout, confined space, hot work, and elevated work safely.
• Understanding of applicable laws, codes, policies, regulations, and safety practices.
• Success in establishing employment eligibility and completing background checks and required pre‑employment testing.
• Respirator fit – must be clean‑shaven and pass pulmonary function and fit tests.

• 5+ years of industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience.
• Working knowledge of continuous pouring equipment and robotic welding applications.
• Experience with electrocoating high‑tech metal processing equipment.
• Electrical minor or equivalent.

• On‑site manufacturing facility in Menomonee Falls, WI.
• Work hours communicated by manager.
• Must stand for long periods, lift and carry up to 50 lbs, push/pull up to 50 lbs, and use personal protective equipment.
• Open to reassignments of duties and working hours.
