Position Title: Production Floor/Warehouse Worker

Wage: $18.00/hour

Shift: 1st

Hours: 06:00 am - 02:30 pm

Responsibilities
  • Receiving and Unloading:
    Receive incoming shipments, inspect them for accuracy and damages, and record relevant information. Safely unload materials or products from delivery trucks.
  • Storage and Organization:
    Properly store items in designated locations, ensuring that items are organized and easy to access. Maintain an orderly and clean warehouse environment.
  • Order Picking:
    Accurately pick items from the inventory according to order lists and pack them for shipping. Ensure that the correct quantity and quality of items are selected.
  • Packing and Labeling:
    Safely and securely pack items for shipping, ensuring that packages are appropriately labeled. Use packaging materials effectively to prevent damage during transit.
  • Shipping:
    Prepare packages for shipping by verifying shipping labels, addressing, and ensuring they are ready for carriers. Load items onto delivery trucks as needed.
  • Inventory Management:
    Conduct regular inventory checks, report discrepancies, and assist in maintaining accurate stock levels. Assist in the organization of stock and shelving units.
  • Quality Control:
    Inspect products for damage and report any quality issues to the supervisor. Help maintain the quality of stored items.
  • Equipment Operation:
    Safely operate and maintain warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
  • Safety Compliance:
    Follow safety guidelines, policies, and procedures to maintain a safe working environment. Report any safety concerns or incidents promptly.
  • Documentation:
    Maintain accurate records of inventory, shipping, and receiving activities. Ensure all necessary paperwork is completed correctly.
  • Communication:
    Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure efficient operations. Communicate clearly and effectively with colleagues and external vendors.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven experience as a warehouse worker or a related role is a plus.
  • Ability to operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks (if required).
  • Physical stamina and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and move heavy items.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order picking, packing, and inventory management.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Reading a tape measure to the 16th of an inch.
  • Basic computer skills for inventory tracking and order processing.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and the ability to follow safety guidelines.
