Basic purpose

The coordinator, slotting will support an efficient warehouse by assigning products to pick and reserve slots and performing clerical and warehouse slotting duties.

** essential duties and responsibilities*
* + utilize manhattan software to slot products in all warehouse areas (dry, cooler, freezer, pir) to promote a safe working environment, maximize warehouse efficiency, and minimize errors.

+ perform accurate slotting of new items as well as daily slotting moves to increase productivity and cases per pallet.

+ monitor, research, and respond to slot check inquiries to answer internal questions about item placement.

+ support inventory control to research and reconcile damaged product.

+ support daily replenishment priorities to promote warehouse efficiency and reduce spoilage.

+ perform regularly scheduled audits (aisle audits, rack labels, ti/hi, and pallet put-aways).

+ communicate daily with warehouse leadership about work status, receiving errors or safety concerns.

** minimum qualifications*
* Related experience/requirements:

+ minimum two years of experience in a warehouse administrative or clerical position.

Knowledge/skills/abilities:

+ effective communication both verbally and in writing.

+ excellent telephone and customer service ability.

+ strong math, analytical, and organizational skills with high attention to detail.

+ basic computer skills with a good knowledge of programs such as microsoft word, excel, access, and outlook.

+ problem solving and critical thinking abilities to solve problems of limited scope.

+ strong teamwork skills with the ability to support others in the department and division.

Education

+ high school diploma or ged/equivalent required.

** preferred qualifications*
* + prior slotting experience preferred.

+ knowledge of dot hours of service regulations.

+ knowledge of our geographic delivery area.

Certifications/training

+ xata and checkpoint experience.
