Shipping & Receiving Clerk
Are you someone who likes to stay busy, stay organized, and keep things moving? Join our team as a Shipping & Receiving Clerk, where you'll play an important role in making sure materials and products get where they need to go—on time and accurately.
In this hands‑on position, you'll help manage the flow of goods throughout our facility by supporting shipping, receiving, inventory tracking, and general warehouse operations. If you're dependable, detail‑oriented, and eager to learn, we'd love to meet you!
Responsibilities Shipping Support- Package and label outgoing shipments with accuracy and care.
- Prepare packing slips, shipping labels, and other documentation.
- Stage materials and products for carrier pickups.
- Help ensure orders are shipped correctly and on schedule.
- Receive and unload incoming shipments.
- Inspect deliveries for damage and verify quantities.
- Compare received items against packing slips and purchase orders.
- Organize and store materials in designated warehouse locations.
- Maintain accurate shipping and receiving records.
- Assist with cycle counts and inventory audits.
- Label and track materials throughout the warehouse.
- Learn and utilize ERP systems and barcode scanning technology.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe.
- Move materials using pallet jacks, carts, and other equipment.
- Follow all safety, quality, and operational procedures.
- Work as part of a team to keep daily operations running smoothly.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Dependable attendance and strong work ethic.
- Previous warehouse or shipping/receiving experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate.

QualificationsMinimum Qualifications
- Education:
High school diploma or GED. - 1+ years of experience in a warehouse, shipping, or receiving role (entry‑level).
- Experience in manufacturing, sheet metal fabrication, or industrial environment.
- Basic computer skills and ability to learn ERP or inventory software.
- Ability to read and understand shipping documents and labels.
- Willingness to learn forklift or pallet jack operation (certification a plus).
- Good communication skills and teamwork.
- Previous warehouse or material handling experience.
- Familiarity with basic shipping carriers (UPS, Fed Ex).
- Basic understanding of inventory or warehouse terminology.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and use feet to operate machinery. Must be able to frequently stand, walk, and use hands to finger, handle, or touch objects, tools, or controls. Must be able to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, and move from place to place. The employee regularly able to talk, listen, climb or balance and reach above shoulders.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, and depth perception. The employee must be able to lift and or carry up to 50 lbs. frequently. Travel:

Work is performed in a manufacturing environment where loud noise exposure is regular and frequent. Additionally, there is a regular exposure on the production floor to dust, metal debris, changes in ambient temperature, and requires the use of appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
