Basic Purpose
The Coordinator, Slotting will support an efficient warehouse by assigning products to pick and reserve slots and performing clerical and warehouse slotting duties.

The starting pay is $28/hr compensation depends on relevant experience and/or education, specific skills, function, geographic location, and other factors as applicable by law. The expected base rate for this role is between $17.30 and $28.83. This role will also receive overtime compensation.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Utilize Manhattan software to slot products in all warehouse areas (dry, cooler, freezer, PIR) to promote a safe working environment, maximize warehouse efficiency, and minimize errors.
- Perform accurate slotting of new items as well as daily slotting moves to increase productivity and cases per pallet.
- Monitor, research, and respond to Slot Check inquiries to answer internal questions about item placement.
- Support Inventory Control to research and reconcile damaged product.
- Support daily replenishment priorities to promote warehouse efficiency and reduce spoilage.
- Perform regularly scheduled audits (aisle audits, rack labels, TI/HI, and pallet put‑aways).
- Communicate daily with warehouse leadership about work status, receiving errors or safety concerns.

The work will take place both at a desk in a US Foods office‑based environment and in normal warehouse environments including cooler and freezer areas where temperatures may be as low as
-5°F.
- Minimum two years of experience in a warehouse administrative or clerical position.
- Effective communication both verbally and in writing.
- Excellent telephone and customer service ability.
- Strong math, analytical, and organizational skills with high attention to detail.
- Basic computer skills with a good knowledge of programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook.
- Problem solving and critical thinking abilities to solve problems of limited scope.
- Strong teamwork skills with the ability to support others in the department and division.
- High school diploma or GED/equivalent required.
- Prior slotting experience preferred.
- Knowledge of DOT Hours of Service Regulations.
- Knowledge of our geographic delivery area.
- XATA and Checkpoint experience.
- Stand, walk, and sit frequently.
- Lift 1–10 lbs, 11–20 lbs, 21–50 lbs, and 51–100 lbs occasionally.
- Carry 1–10 lbs, 11–20 lbs, 21–50 lbs, and 51–100 lbs occasionally.
- Push/Pull, climb/balance, stoop/squat, kneel, bend, reach above shoulder, twist, grasp, manipulate, and manual dexterity as required, generally occasionally or frequently.
