Job Description:
Plant Engineering Maintenance SupervisorThe Plant Engineering Maintenance Supervisor will lead a team of plant engineers, manage maintenance of equipment, and develop and implement safety, quality, and environmental initiatives to support plant operations.
Impact you’ll make- Promote a safe and sustainable working environment by modeling safe behaviors, leading incident investigations, and presenting incident resolutions to site leadership.
- Provide supervision and technical direction to Plant Engineering personnel for maintenance tasks on machines, systems, and facilities to maximize overall equipment effectiveness, and coach employees to resolve conflicts and improve performance.
- Schedule, assign, and direct personnel in maintenance of equipment and facilities, provide technical direction, diagnose equipment problems, and evaluate completed assignments for quality and procedural compliance.
- Lead coaching and development of employees, oversee training completion, CMMS utilization, regulatory compliance, and participate in hiring processes for interns, student helpers, and contract workers.
- Lead Plant Engineering strategic priorities and support plant leadership through coverage for alternative shifts, on‑call duties, and flexible work schedules to support 24/7 operations.
Minimum qualifications:
- Associate Degree or higher in a related technical field and at least five (5) years of manufacturing experience in a private, public, government or military environment.
- OR Bachelor’s Degree or higher in a related technical field and at least three (3) years of manufacturing experience in a private, public, government or military environment.
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed:
- One (1) year of previous leadership, supervisory, or management experience in a private, public, government, or military environment.
- Experience with daily tier management processes and Kaizen improvement projects.
- Obtained CRL, CMM, CMRP, CMRT, CRE, or CAMA certifications.
- Understanding of Environmental and Regulatory Compliance, NFPA, and OSHA & MSHA Standards (MSHA required for mining sites).

Compensation and benefitsCompensation range: $95,591 - $116,834 base pay plus variable incentive pay.
