Overview

Mechanics needed at Menomonie, WI plant. Estimated start pay $30.55 per hour plus shift differential. 12‑hour night shift (5:00 PM–5:00 AM) with training up to 3 months, then on a 2-2-3 or Monday through Thursday schedule. $6,000 performance bonus available. The position offers overtime as needed.

• Operate and maintain machinery to keep our can line running efficiently.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical systems and make modifications as needed.
• Use precision measuring tools, working with tolerances up to .0010.
• Contribute ideas for improvement to enhance safety and productivity.

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalency.
• Two or more years as an industrial mechanic preferred but not required.
• Willingness to learn and grow in the role.

• Stand and walk frequently; minimal sitting.
• Lift, carry, push, and pull tools, parts, and materials primarily 6–50 lb., occasional 51–100 lb. with assistance or equipment; rarely >100 lb.
• Perform bending, squatting, kneeling, crawling, reaching, balancing, simple grasping, fine manipulation.
• Repetitive assembly and repair tasks.
• Climb stairs or ladders occasionally.
• Work around fixed and moving machinery, power equipment, vibration, and elevated noise.
• Exposure to heat, cold, humidity, dust, fumes, and wet/humid conditions typical of a manufacturing environment.
