Prototek is hiring a CNC Operations Manager to lead our machining team, drive efficiency, and build a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

• Run day-to-day CNC operations across 3‑axis, 5‑axis, and lathe machining.
• Lead, mentor, and develop supervisors and machinists.
• Own production schedules and ensure on‑time delivery.
• Drive lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Partner with leadership to optimize workflow, staffing, and performance.
• Build a strong safety‑first culture on the shop floor.

• 5‑10+ years of manufacturing or production management experience.
• 5+ years of CNC machining and/or programming experience (3‑axis, 5‑axis, and lathe).
• Strong knowledge of high‑tolerance machining and GD&T.
• Experience leading teams in a fast‑paced machining or job shop environment.
• Familiarity with ERP systems (MIE Trak preferred) and Microsoft Office.
• Strong problem‑solving, communication, and leadership skills.

Degree in Manufacturing, Machining, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
