Sales & Pricing Analyst, Soda, Wine & Spirits

Bill’s Distributing, Ltd., an industry leader in beer, soda, wine & spirits distribution, is looking for a highly motivated individual to join our team as a Sales & Pricing Coordinator for our Soda, Wine & Spirits, and B4U Vending divisions. This role will support the pre-sales efforts and sales management at Bill’s Distributing toward the achievement of sales and distribution goals established by sales management and the Owners at Bill’s Distributing, Ltd.

Primary Responsibilities

Planning:

· Accurately update bill back information for suppliers assigned in a timely manner

· Create Promo sheets as needed and distribute to appropriate personnel.

· Assist in Inventory for assigned suppliers/brands as needed. Could involve monitoring trends, POD's, promos, seasonality, remaining shelf life of product, putting together suggested order quantities, etc.

· Prepare sell sheets as needed and classify accordingly electronically

· Submit products and pricing to chain retailers

Tracking & Measuring:

• Track and measure key market sales indicators
• Provide sales management with timely sales information, as needed

Knowledge:

• Maintain extensive product knowledge of all Bill’s Distributing products and package mix as well as all competitive products and package mix in the market.

· Know how to read company (and major competitor’s) code dates.

· Knowledge of all BDL brands and pricing structures.

· Manage inside sales customers and orders

· Facilitate online orders and direct them to appropriate sales representative.

· Maintain different pricing segments for both internal and external customers as needed

· Update and maintain product catalogs

· Create sell sheets as directed by sales management

· Prepare and maintain accurate company price lists/deal sheets

· Develop and maintain a good rapport with all BDL retailers

· Setup of new customers in route accounting system

· Build and maintain products in route accounting system

Documentation/Reporting:

• Provide administrative personnel with current account information and delivery time constraints
• Compile a monthly summary of all sales activity and review with the Owners Show comparison of actual to projected performance
• Monitor all competitive activity and report findings to the Owners

General:

• Professionally represent the Company at all times on the job and off

• Help maintain the positive image of the Company in the trade
• Be visible and actively in involved community programs and sponsored local events
• Know, understand, and adhere to all Company policies and procedures
• Adhere to all applicable federal, state, county, and local regulations regarding the sale and merchandising of malt beverages and other beverage products
• Maintain appropriate dress and personal appearance standards

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business/related field or the equivalent in education and experience.

· Professional demeanor, with the ability to communicate effectively with other departments.

· Strong communications skills (written and verbal).

· Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Physical Requirements

· Ability to lift/move case product or materials, up to 30 lbs occasionally

· Ability to use hands for phone or computer work; reach with hands and arms for various activities; sit frequently or for extended periods
