Construction Representative

Position:
Construction Representative – Mentor, Ohio

Verdantas is seeking a Construction Representative for the Mentor, Ohio Office. This role supports field inspections, construction oversight, and quality assurance for municipal and environmental projects including sanitary and storm sewer installations, pavement rehabilitation, and waterline construction.

• Assist in the supervision and coordination of construction activities on site.
• Monitor project progress and report any issues or delays to the Construction Manager.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Conduct site inspections to verify work is performed according to plans and specifications.
• Maintain accurate records of daily activities, including work performed, materials used, and any issues encountered.
• Communicate effectively with contractors, subcontractors, and other project stakeholders.
• Assist in resolving on-site issues or conflicts that may arise.
• Participate in project meetings and provide updates on construction progress.

• Possession of a bachelor’s or associate degree in civil engineering, civil engineering technology, construction engineering, or relevant construction experience.
• Prior experience in monitoring municipal infrastructure construction work on sanitary and storm sewer projects, waterlines, pump stations, roadway improvements, and related work for compliance with contract plans and specifications.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints, contract specifications, and to interact with clients, contractors, and management.

Salary Range: $25.00 - $27.00 per hour.
