Mentor Smiles is seeking a compassionate, patient-focused Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) to join our growing team! We are committed to providing exceptional dental care in a welcoming and professional environment where patients feel comfortable, valued, and supported.
The ideal candidate is passionate about patient education, preventive care, and building long-term relationships while delivering outstanding clinical treatment.
SchedulePart-Time
- One-hour patient appointments, allowing you to provide quality care and personalized attention to every patient
- Perform comprehensive dental hygiene assessments and periodontal charting
- Provide prophylaxis, scaling and root planing, periodontal maintenance, and preventive dental treatments
- Take digital radiographs in accordance with Ohio regulations
- Screen patients for periodontal disease, oral disease, and oral cancer
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, nutrition, and preventive dental care
- Document patient findings and maintain accurate electronic dental records
- Collaborate with the dentist to develop individualized treatment plans
- Maintain infection control and sterilization protocols in compliance with OSHA and CDC guidelines
- Build positive relationships with patients while providing compassionate, high-quality care
- Support a positive and collaborative team environment
- Current Ohio Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) License in good standing
- Current CPR/BLS Certification
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities
- Experience with digital radiography and electronic dental records
- Commitment to delivering exceptional patient care and working as part of a team
- One or more years of clinical hygiene experience preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply
- Experience with Dentrix, Eaglesoft, Open Dental, or similar dental software
- Knowledge of periodontal therapy and patient education best practices
- One-hour appointments that allow you to focus on quality patient care
