We are seeking a skilled drafter to join our team in Mentor, OH. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating technical drawings and plans for a variety of one-of-a-kind projects, Projects will include the libraries, kitchens, offices and great rooms of luxurious homes and yachts. The drafter will work closely with engineers, architects, and other internal team-members to ensure that designs are accurate, complete, and meet all necessary specifications.
Responsibilities:- Create technical drawings and plans using computer-aided design (CAD) software
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other professionals to ensure that designs are accurate, complete, and meet all necessary specifications
- Review and revise drawings and plans as necessary
- Ensure that all drawings and plans are in compliance with applicable codes, regulations, and standards
- Prepare and maintain documentation related to drawings and plans
- Communicate with internal and external clients as necessary
- Associate's degree in drafting OR 3+ years of related experience
- Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software, including 3D modeling experience
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience in high-end millwork environment is a plus
