Salary: $45.00 - $60.00 per hour. Additional bonus potential: +/- up to $3,000 per month.
Position SummaryYour role at The Joint Chiropractic will consist of becoming part of a team changing the face of chiropractic. You will be a trusted advisor and leader in your office and community helping us further our mission. We are on a mission to make routine chiropractic care more affordable and accessible in every community we serve. You will serve in a high-volume practice where all exams are done efficiently and effectively, allowing you to serve more, safely.
This position is designed for both veteran and new doctors.
- Consult with patients by reviewing health and medical histories; questioning, observing and examining patients; and reviewing x-rays, as indicated.
- Evaluate patients’ neuromusculoskeletal systems and the spine using chiropractic diagnosis to determine neuromusculoskeletal and spine related conditions.
- Perform manual adjustments to the spine or other articulations of the body, to correct the musculoskeletal system, where necessary.
- Educate patients on the quality‑of‑life benefits of routine chiropractic care and provide a recommended course of treatment.
- Maintain accurate case histories and patient records; obtain and record medical histories; arrange for diagnostic x‑rays when medically necessary; analyze x‑rays; and rule out fractures or diseases.
- Provide consultations, exams, and treatment plans for chiropractic maintenance visits; enter chiropractic visits notes into electronic notes software; provide high‑volume adjustments using diversified adjustments and drop tables.
- Build positive doctor‑patient relationships and provide high‑quality care and advice to each patient.
- Sales of membership packages and education on benefits of regular maintenance.
- Manage clinic staff as necessary.
- Doctor of Chiropractic (DC) degree from an accredited institution.
- Active State chiropractic license, or ability to obtain one prior to start.
- Eligible for malpractice insurance.
- Passion for delivering high‑quality, routine wellness care.
- Strong communication skills and a patient‑first attitude.
- Comfortable in a fast‑paced, walk‑in clinic environment.
- Weekend availability (at least some) is a plus.
- New graduates encouraged; company will provide support.
- Comprehensive understanding of anatomy, physiology, and neurology.
- In‑depth knowledge of musculoskeletal system disorders and treatments.
- Proficiency in performing spinal adjustments and other chiropractic techniques.
- Ability to conduct thorough patient assessments, including physical examinations and diagnostic tests.
- Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport and explain treatment plans clearly.
- Active listening skills to understand patient concerns and symptoms.
- Ability to analyze patient conditions based on observations, history, and diagnostic tests.
- Critical thinking skills to develop and adjust treatment plans.
- Knowledge of therapeutic exercises, stretches, and lifestyle modifications.
- Ability to educate patients on nutrition, exercise, and ergonomic practices.
- Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and ethical standards.
- Dedication to ongoing professional development and current advancements in chiropractic care.
- Ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals.
- Maintain state licensure.
